How To Draw A Wizard (Step by Step) - Christopher Hart Christopher: To are establishing a character type, start in the front view, where everything is symmetrical, not compressed by perspective. If your character's cheekbone looks big in the front view, and when you draw a 3/4 view, it looks normal, you can extrapolate that the cheekbone needs more mass in the 3/4 view. Simple. Also, every character's features are exaggerated to some degree. The trick is choosing which to exaggerate. Make specific choices, and be bold with them. I hope that's been helpful.

Call me Chris. Hmmm, let's see if we can come up with a solution. I can be more helpful if you could describe, a little more specifically, what goes wrong when you turn the head. Does it occur in profiles too?

Try using an egg shape, and keep it constant in the front and 3/4 views. Only change the placement of the center line, and see how that works for you.
