This demo will be easy and fun - you can draw along with me! I'll show you how to put personality into your drawing by starting with exaggerated proportions (head shape, humorous features (eyes, nose, mouth & mustache) and costume - that famous viking horned hat! This is a basic lesson in character design, and it's like putting a puzzle together. Next, we'll use the principle of squash and stretch to create the expression - a stretched face, which lends itself to a surprised expression.
