Welcome to my drawing channel. While many artists have no difficulty drawing a walking pose in a side view, they often get into trouble when they attempt to draw it in the front view. A front view tends to flatten out the figure, and therefore makes it harder to draw the character as if it were walking through space, toward us, the viewer. However, it's not so much the stride (leg position) as it is the dynamics of the entire body that creates a convincing walking pose, and the illusion of forward movement

Wow, that one line for the hips (as well as the idea that the hip of the stationary leg goes sideways) was enough to improve my sketch quality 10 times;
Thank you very much for that!
P. S. to me your sketch looks a bit off balance, since the stationary foot is not under the center of mass, but it looks really nice nonetheless.

I love your art so much! You're an extremely underrated artist and you've helped and inspired me so much with drawing.
Do you think you could make a video where you give tips on drawing and anatomy? Like just a video for beginner artists and how to start drawing, and what helped you succeed as an artist.
