Calabasas is actually my hometown (lived there for 10 years and then 8 in Agoura Hills) I didn't even know what thrifting was until I moved away-I can advocate for the fact that there are literally no significant thrift shops around Since moving away I've seen thrift stores in every city I lived in. But yeah, they never had any nearby thrift shops in the Calabasas area and I had never seen one until I moved away.

I loved the skirt that you hemmed. Super cute and definitely got a Clue feeling. Also that tommy Hilfiger crop would looks soooo cute with some chunky heel booties and those high waisted jeans. This was definitely thrifting on a budget. Cant believe you got that dress for that low of a price.

Definitely enjoyed this video. It was different than the thrift hauls I've seen other LA-based Youtubers create. I would have liked to see some of the items on before you altered them. And I was kind of bummed you didn't try on the last couple pieces.

I think a lot of the time they like pay to wear the clothes and then they give them back. Because how many times have they been photographed and tags being spotted in the pics on accident.

you should ask the donation centers in those neighborhoods what location the clothes gets placed in cuz that's probs where the celebs would go to drop off their clothes

In NYC, theres tiers to thrifting: thrifting, consignment, vintage. The more curated, the pricier it gets. but you also get clothes that are close to new as imaginable.
