Join me, Joe Robinet, Mike Morton and Dustin Feher from History's Alone as we winter camp in Muskoka, Ontario, Canada. We cook massive steaks on the open fire and sleep in four completely different shelters, including me in my Outdoor Research Advance Bivy

Nice trip. I think I prefer your style aka the cowboy style. Just throw the tarp over you. Less work and just as effective. I love a good steak but to be honest, I think in my old age I would prefer the hot dogs and beans. I love beans and wieners.

Sorry you had to cut this one short. Looked like good company and a great little place to camp. I don't get snow like that here. I live in the US< East Coast, South Carolina.

Cool little trip. Can't think of a better way to spend a winter's day than hanging out with some friends in the snow covered woods. Thanks for sharing. - Jeremy

Great time out Shawn. 2. 5lb of steak for dinner then 3 good size sausages for breakfast. Doing it right! How was the condensation inside your bivy?

Very nice, but I got used to your newer lone man format (highly preferred, so this is harder to get used to now. Still enjoyed it!
