For those of you wondering, flipping a tigershark upside down puts it on a trance like state called tonic immobility. During this state, most of its sense slow, causing it to kind of relax. A shark like this will only stay in this state for a about 15 minutes, so it should be ok being left like this. The stress of it being caught, however, may be what kills it if it died.

Oh, God I swam in Nassau and Freeport, I fear tigers because they will hunt their prey until they get it, dont care if they are hunting humans. I would never go swimming in Hawaii in oct or nov when natives stay out, woman died swimming with friend in those months.

If you cant put a bend in the rod, youre using the wrong tool for the job. A short 80 stand up youd be able to apply more pressure
