Fishing for GIANT Offshore Permit

In this episode, I go fishing offshore in Sarasota with Jason Boyll from Sonar Fishing to catch giant permit on shallow wrecks. As soon as we got near the wreck, we saw dozens of permit flashing on the surface. We quickly got anchored and started fishing. Within 15 minutes, I was hooked up to the first permit of the day. After a tough fight on light tackle, I managed to get the permit boat side for Jayson to grab. What an incredible fish The fishing got tough after we released the first permit. Eventually, we packed up and called it a day. On the following day, we had to catch crabs before heading offshore. Once we found the permit offshore, the bite was epic We were literary hooking permit every 10 minutes. I quickly landed two giant permit. All of a sudden, a giant bull shark showed up behind the boat and the scared the permit Jayson tossed a bait far behind the boat and he hooked up to another permit. This fish was a monster It peeled a lot of line off the reel and fought for nearly 20 minutes before we could land the fish. Jayson's permit was by far the biggest fish of the day

Then I've been fishing these waters for 30 years and I've never seen a permit in Sarasota that freaking big Newpass bait shop is literally 10 minutes from my house
