What's up Brandon! Took alot to open up like that about your dad. Respect to you for being strong enough to do that. And I'm sorry to hear that you went through all that. But on a some what related not I am a big fisherman and when my grandfather passed I got alot of his gear including that exact same tackelbox. And like you opening it up and seeing all his tackle was a roller coaster. I actually took alot of his stuff and put it on my wall with a bunch of my fishing signs and stuff I had gotten from friends and family through out the years. It's a small way to kind of keep his memory with me ya know. If you read this and want to see pictures just get back to me and I'll be more then glad to share with ya.

How can anyone dislike this video. People are so cold. Anyway, Brandon, I just lost my dad from cancer as well. I watched him slowly wither up from cancer, it's so hard to go through. Please accept my deepest condolences to the loss of your dad. It's good to go through personal things of your dads. It helps with closer. I cried right with you as you reminisced about your dad and I'm sure all the great times spent with him. Funny, you don't realize how many things your dad taught you. We do this without even knowing we did it. Talking about my own children. OK chin up buddy, and thank you for sharing something so private, I know it wasn't easy!

Thank you for sharing that with all of us on YouTube. I know it is never easy going through personal things, especially when they hold so many memories. My father passed away in 2013 as well. It was very sudden and devastating, and I know how hard it is to talk about it sometimes. But we get through it by taking it one day at a time and seeing how wonderful things can be. And even though I personal don't know you or your father, I'm sure he's still looking over you in everything you do. Because what you do, is very inspiring.

Hi Brandon keep the tackle box just the way it is so you can keep those memories and look through it from time to time it will bring you peace in your Heart, I'm a father and I treasure the time I've spent with my son and now I'm a Grandpop and when you have kids you can share the stories of you and your Dad with your kids and the adventures and memories you made with your Dad God Bless and take care and Cherish your family and friends and let them all know how much they mean to you.

I don't know why this video was recommended to me but, the title. I know its been roughly three years since it was made but has no body thought to tell you that you've phrased it in such a way as to mean that YOU'VE been dead for five years, then you discovered the tackle box. No disrespect but it just reads funny. Add his between after and passing to correct. Not a grammar nazi, just the title reads what it shouldn't.

What a great video and it sounds like your Dad was a superstar person. I lost my Dad in 2014 and we did hunting and fishing. He would takes us boys to Canada camping and fishing, catching giant Pike, Walleye, and Lake Trout. I stopped fishing for untill just this last year where I picked it back up. I always wish I could go fishing with my Dad one more time. God bless you bro.
