Flats BOAT FAIL Miles Out in the Deep Sea!

In this fishing video, Florida fishing girl goes deep sea fishing in her flats boat. While saltwater fishing, we had an epic boating fail miles out to sea and the engine started to alarm. We had to cut our offshore fishing trip short and head back in

Fair enough and I appreciate the response. Your videos are successful due to their entertainment and educational value. You are the primary contributing factor in that success. Wish you continued success and apologize if my original critique was too harsh. Still a fan and very appreciative of folks like you that get to live the lifestyle on the water that I wish I could on a more frequent basis.

As an optimax owner, Im quite familiar with the low oil alarm.
Once you replenish the oil reservoir, you have to pull the engine cowling off, loosen the cap on the internal oil tank, start the engine, and watch the oil level on the internal tank rise till it gets close to the top, then put the cap back on. Simple.

Put a Suzuki on it I have a Yamaha 150 good motor but I would trade it for a Suzuki today. I did have a mercury 150 tower of power when I lived on lake Norman. But when I moved to Morehead city had to change up. my boat came with a Yamaha wish is was a Suzuki. Hope you get your mercury straight.

Yeah my livewell went out and I snapped the antenna off the other day. I wish I could be out on the water everyday like you guys but with three kids ( one being an infant) I don't get a chance to go out much except for weekends when I have enough to put gas in the boat lol.

So, it seems like the sharks have acclimated to boats and fishermen down there. they show up as soon as you set up? I remember they'd show up after a couple of fish came aboard back in the day, but it seems like they're really getting ridiculous. Is it really that bad?

Dunno if your boat engine is like mine, but did you check the little tank on the engine. My transfer pump from my resevoir tank on the boat was full but the one on the motor was low and the alarm stayed on and kept me in limp mode.

I'm so jealous of your screened in porch. One my best memories from childhood was sleeping on the screened in porch at my Grandma Nonnie's house in Missouri.
