Nice sheepshead! Old sheepshead save alot of winter fishing days down here in Fla, Used to know some docks inside Big Carlos Pass here in Lovers Key area and we would anchor 3 - 4 ft off the docks n throw shrimp under the docks n pull out some nice big good eating sheepshead!
That spot used to be steady big sheepshead in the winter!
My wife caught a giant sheepshead in Ding Darling wildlife refuge years ago and its teeth were buck teeth and all twisted n crooked it was huge! Guess the teeth must grow all through the lifespan cause this sheepshead had gnarly twisted buck teeth and it was a giant fish,

Again, Awesome hair! I finally got a fishing pole too. (A Quantum, and I still need to reel the fishing line onto it) Hopefully, I will be catching some trout at some point in the near future! Nice to meet you Connor! Stay humble. (It's most likely, at times, hard to be treated like a kid when you're a Marine and can Kick Some Arse! Congratulations on getting through the hazing. :.

I can't stand the family over talking everyone. I came here because very few people realize how easy sheepshead are to catch. Fewer know how good it is to eat! one caveat. Back in the day we would fry right on the boat so as to eat fresh and keep BZ. Something went wrong with the grease. The boat caught fire and if not for locals in the 10, 000 islands. We may not have made it!

Great segment on knife sharpening! Too many people don't do it right and it makes the job a lot harder and sloppier. I do prefer pulling the blade toward the sharp side on the sharpener but it isn't much of a difference.

I'm surprise you can eat so much ocean fish, here is california we have recommended limits because of toxicity. women usually have a much lower recommendation than men.
