Brian the big dog Puss, do not ever go to the country and visit someone's farm Brian. Stay on the sidewalks. There was a reason you were receiving a warning from that dog, but you were not listening because you demand respect from animals. It is a whole lot of difference to command respect.
You probably never raised a guard dog to protect your family while you were not at home.
I have been robbed several times, because I restricted my dogs access to my rural homes. Once I let them run the whole perimeter that crap stopped.
Even trained dogs to protect farms.
Trained a border collie mix in high school to leave with my Mom after I grew up and left home and no one would bother Mom. That dog would not even let me and my sister argue/holler at each other.
When my Mom was living with me in her 60's and Alzheimer's my catahoula leopard and rhodesian ridgebacks would not let any strangers near her because she thought everyone was her friend out living in a rural area. While I had caregivers at the house and was working full time.

I've got a abu Garcia oceanfeild BG with the crank handle and 50lb braid with 50lb mono leader on a 30/50lb pistol grip rod. Works great for ripping fish out of the mangroves and structure in big tidal run with large sinkers. I've also used 6lb/20lb leader pretest mono to catch the same fish just being super gentle.

How do you fish off the deck of that Boat with all that junk everywhere. I would be throwing stuff off the deck into the water till I could walk around and Fish comfortably. I see why you loose so many fish.
