150 is EXCESSIVE. This is govt out of control. Ticket should be 25 max. Here in Fairbanks Alaska parking in the wrong place for jury duty can cost 250 dollars. Government is out of control. A parking ticket should cost 20 bucks. Unfortunately govt GREED licks in. I have NEVER seen govt harassment for fish and game like in Florida. Must be a real money maker. Ernest Hemingway would be disgusted! He was a REAL AMERICAN.

Game warden is a joke, I had a similar situation and saw game warden with rain storm. As I was in Arling in game, warden pass me going 30 miles an hour to get to dock, needless to say I picked up speed and did the same. A few jerks give them all bad names.

I respect the FWRC, but, this cop was lying in ambush waiting for revenue to roll into his hands. I’m sure they have much better things to do than sitting in the rain waiting for a violation to occur. Gives all officers a black eye.

I didn't know you have Speckled Trout there in the Intercoastal Waterway on the Atlantic side of Florida. I haven't been there or fished there for years now. I have caught Speckled Trout on the Gulf side of Florida.

You have every right to contest that citation in court! As a captain, the safety of your passengers is paramount in your decision-making. Most judges would see that weather as an extenuating circumstance.

i see boats flying under that bridge all the time in perfect weather, and they never get stopped, and the manatee zones in the north fork, I've never seen an officer there in 10 years.
