Great video, brings back alot of memories here in the Ozarks, no gators, tho, proud of you all for showing the kids, outdoors & praising the Lord!
I use to make a knife slit, from anal, up center of back, to head, at the hips hold, pull skin down past, where you can get a good hold of skin from both sides, and pull straight down from back& the skin pulls easily from front& back legs all at once, in one motion!

We used to have a camp 13 miles in the Everglades when I was a kid. My parents used to go out at night frog gigging on their airboat and come back with 359 lbs of frogs in the morning and us kids would clean them. Us kids would go out some nights in our Jon boat and try grabbing them buy hand but quite doing that after the boat would get struck by water moccasins so many times.

What was the cool colander looking blue flouring bowl you used while cooking. That was great. I need one In my life. Loved the video. I-m so happy to see you two doing so much with your kids. Most kids never ever get to do things like this. We always did and we never had trouble with the during their teen years. Good parenting

Swamp style Buffalo wings! Gotta try me dem bak straps on dem jumbos mayne! Lol. Fry like you did, toss in Frank's Red Hot ORIGINAL! With grated parmesan cheese. And Ken's blue cheese. Make your tongue slap ya brains out!
Not really down with the -yes sir- thing. Kids can respectful without that. But to each their own.

The frog legs are popular in certain areas along the Ohio river as well and in Kentucky. We only eat the hind legs and batter and Fry them. Some people bake them but it-s gross. Snapping turtle is much better though and tastes like gator. When I catch one I put it in a big pot of clam chowder -

When I was young, on our ranch, we went to the ponds at night, with a. 22 and a flashlight. Our Bullfrogs were much larger. Our mother cooked them once. One frog jumped out of the frying pan and after that, we had to cook them outside, because she refused to allow them in the house anymore.

Defining crazy: -Be careful because alligators are everywhere. - The next thing you see is the same guy that said be careful because alligators are everywhere jumping in the marshy glades at night where there are clearly alligators everywhere.
Frog legs are awesome!

Great to see someone else use the whole frog and not just the legs. I harvest them with a 22 cal and my favorite way to cookem is with catfish and dried shrimp loaded with vegies in a soup. Drop a few tins of Pato chipotle sauce. the best
