Host Colin McKeown travels to the famous Sutton River for aggressive brook trout, then goes to Pym Island on the Attawapiskat River for giant pike. Best of all, this is all done surface flies!

The surface action with mouse patterns looks amazing on the Sutton. I've seen reports of green drake hatches also but I haven't heard reports of grasshopper action there. Do you know if there are grasshoppers on the Sutton? My daughter and I are planning a trip and I'm looking to add whatever -dries- might be useful to the host of streamers and mouse patterns we'll have, but without bringing 20 fly boxes. Thank you.

Sutton is on the to-do list and has been for years. but enjoyed much the Pym bits, especially seeing ole' Normy, a couple of those fishing spots and river stretches. Ahhh remember it well.
