I like that you guys didn't give away any of my locations, even though it shocked me to see you fish them on this vid LOL. fishing this lake isn't what it used to be (understatement of the year) but one thing I would like to point out, please stop holding their lips like a Bass; it stresses, and hurts them. They need to be able to use those muscles to push water through their gills, and when you over-extend their jaw muscles by holding them like that, they have a hard time breathing and catching food for the next few days after you release them. Just cradle big Perch under their belly for the camera shot, and this seems to keep them calm and prevents them from being stressed before the release. respect for releasing them too!

Another U-tuber from England went to Europe and caught 7-8lb perch. I had never seen one over 11/2-2lb. great filming on fishing. These guys are all about carp, anyway catch the film on those perch. you wont believe it!

I fish the lake lots and I never hear of people weighing them most go by length, taro is just taro definitely some 14s in that live well. (I know I'm late but I'm rewatching your vids)

Come to holland they have 7 pound perch
Even here in England we catch perch like that sometimes

Man the perch in western pa around my area grow way bigger. Saw one like 17 inches before. We find them deep in smaller dams. Dept bobber

What hook and what size hook on this set up? You should have hit the Niagara, 3 way swiveling for steelhead and walleye.

Should try in the winter! Fighting them on smaller rods is a blast, as well as the great whitefish and Laker fishery.
