Because I haven't fished too much in my life time, this place doesn't even LOOK like a lake! It looks like you and your dad are out as sea! That lake is freakin' HUGE! I'd love to have the opportunity to go fishing again on a lake like this. Also, because I'd grown up in the foster care system and on the streets, it is ALWAYS amazing (in a highly emotional way) when I see people fishing with their parents! I absolutely LOVE this kinda stuff!

Good vid but when i gotfor fish idc what pound test i have, i run 14 pound braid with medium 6. 5 ft rod, you have to tire big fish out, theres no fun if you bring 60 pound test to catch a 10 pound fish, you just reef it in, dont mean to be rude but i had to deal with a fishing guide last year who threatened my life over having a fish on for too long so it just kinda gets me going, no hate tho love the vids

One day I'll try to get out to Manitoba. Love the color scheme of your Alumacraft I went with blue on silver for my 21' competitor some dandy pike in this vid man good stuff

Interesting to see that you use long rods by UK standards. I also see that you are both using reels that dont follow the American convention of swapping hands to reel in. That always seemed strange to me. In the UK most right handed anglers use left handed baitcasters which makes a lot more sense to my mind.

Some nice pike. Great to see the fish being handled well and treated with respect. UK pike anglers would say wheres your mat but I can see your method is pretty efficient and keeps the fish out of the water for minimum time.

I love these fish theyre so fun they will bite on anything no skill needed just cast and reel and if there in there they bite and golly they bite hard they are so much fun to catch

Dude, fillet of fish! What are you doing? First catches are keepers. Big enough, keep. Gotta have keepers. I fish to eat fish First! As time progresses, you edit out sizes. Duh!
