Exploring the HIDDEN MYSTERY TUNNEL in My BACKYARD! hunt: Try this, for your well head. Get a short piece of 10 metal culvert, set it over the well head and mark the ground, where the culvert touches. remove the culvert and dig a trench, 3 or 4 deep, set culvert down into the trench and pack the dirt around the outside. Drive 3 fence posts, into the ground, around the culvert. Screw to the culvert, to the post and screw down a lid, on top, old metal bowl, hubcap, anything to keep the water out. Also, drill a few weep holes above the ground level, in case some water does get in.

I grew up in the country and explored the woods a lot and learned a lot. A rabbit hole would be brushy thick areas where nothing can get easy access to it and its softball-sized. The holes you are showing are smaller than a coyote den. I have seen dens like those hundreds of times. Red fox is the owner of those dens. 99. 99% positive on that. You may be wondering why you have never seen them on camera. They are skittish and avoid areas scented by humans, dogs.

Get a harness for Lucy. Put a shock collar on her, when you are at the house. Zap her if she starts chasing a chicken. Put the harness on her, and remove the collar, when you get to the blind. Soon, she'll associate the harness with hunting and the collar with don't chase the chickens.

I bet it was a smaller animal den like rabbits and the Yote tracks ya saw were hunting it and dug it bigger to get them out and made it bigger. That s the fresh dirt you saw. Then the rabbit on the trail cam was looking for his crew!

Could be groundhogs, I've seen those types of burrows with them here in PA. Could also be a red fox because they go into old burrows as well.

It s a coyote den they like to make multiple exit holes that lead to multiple dens and they can fit into extremely small holes

Put a conibear in front of it. A 330 over the big holes and a 110 over the smaller ones. You ll figure out what it is quick!
