Love the video thanks for sharing don't know if you will see this comment 4 years later, but wanted to know if it mattered what type of honey you use, and if you could brine longer than 24 hrs? We made fried pork sirloin chops rendered in southern gravy over white rice, kale greens ever so touched with vinegar and sea salt and cauliflower. You can do the same with deep fried whole turkey. Up here in DMV we still got it going on DMFD our hero.

Just want to thank you for this recipe my family said it was the best turkey they have ever had! Only have one question for ya mine came out pretty black? Tasted amazing just looked little dark any tips to help with that? Thanks agian
