Wild Alaskan King & Red Salmon Catch Clean Cook The Most Amazing Fish! Jason: Rob, visiting Alaska right now and we already caught a limit of halibut out of homer. I also hooked into a salmon shark and it rolled and snapped my line before we could land it. In Seward now and my son got to see me hook a sockeye salmon for the first time in resurrection bay. It is awesome to feel like I am following in your footsteps. Thanks for inspiring us all to live our best lives.

Salmon is a more delicate meat than what I think you get down in Florida. I recommend you cook it in butter at a low temperature to where you just start to see a few bubbles start coming up through the butter. let it cook one side until the opaqueness comes up over the edges and onto the top side a little and then flip them over for just a few minutes more. salmon, especially those king or sockeye, have such a nuanced yet rich flavor that s easy to miss and cover up with as much salt, seasoning, and garlic as you typically put on your fish. Just a suggestion: try it this way as mentioned in butter with just a kiss of salt. Maybe a few capers a the end and a touch of pepper. about like that should do. I d be curious what you d think of that. course I m sure you ve tried it all sorts of ways off camera and I m just nit pickin cuz I m a tad jealous! ;)

ummmmm, Deermeatfordinner you might have just screwed those guys in the intro hook, line, and sinker. Flossing is one thing in Alaska as I fish there every year; but what they are doing in the intro is illigal and will result in very hefty fines if Fish and wildlife officers see this video and seize it as evidence.

Is the doctor Mormon? I'm a Mormon. As soon as I seen his daughter playing the piano I thought they are Mormon. Then I heard the prayer.
