A guy and his grandkids were fishing and they caught a barely long enough catfish and gave that to me. Then I caught a big fat daddy catfish. The lake was low but these fish were churning in the shallow area trying to get worms and such. Well, my hook with a fat canadian nightcrawler was tempting enough. So, I cleaned them out there and put them in a cooler with water and some freezer packs.
Then I went home and had some fresh catfish for lunch. Filleted them, seasoned with Mrs Dash salt free seasoning and sauteed with vegetable oil. Nuked some ramen noodles (without the flavor packet)
Got a bit of a sunburn, too. Next time, where my aussie hat. Or even my boonie.

Those birds are called Barn Swallows anyway that's what we used to call them when I was a kid on an Oregon cattle ranch in the summer MAAAAANY moons ago. Think I was something like, 8 to 11 years old I am now 70
