Man, that was a great day of fishing right there. Get this fella's: Just yesterday, Dec 18th, it was the new moon, I hit the South end of Farm 13 ( Stick Marsh ) using large wild shiners AND tossing lures. The wind just wouldn't blow & basically ruined the bite. But I STILL caught 8 bass total: three 2 lbs & under, two 4's, a 6, an 8. 25, and a 9. 5! All came on shiners, except the 8. 25 that bit a Nichol's JT Kenney Grass Wizard jig. I'm calling it the most awesome SLOW day I ever had. If only we had some wind, the place woulda been ON FIRE.
