Pre-practiceing a lake is sometimes a bad thing. These spawning fish got me to focused on sight fishing for the tournament, but at the end of the day it was still awesome catching some big ol bass. This video is full of great fishing tips to help you catch more bass. More videos about the FLW Tour Events and Fishing Tips

Man I got skunked at Gville last weekend. there was a Yet I FLW college tourney there. Over 200 boats, one third didn't have a fish to weigh. Its awesome what those guys can do. They found the fish when I couldn't man. except a big freshwater drum. we did have cold nights (mid 30s) and it was damn near summer pool because of the rain before we got there.

Awesome video Scott not sure what your paying Brandon but he's worth it. give that man a raise. between your awesome angling skills and his great video work you guys make a great team. best fishing videos on YouTube in my opinion. keep up the good work!

Seemed like you were a little more relaxed and dialed in in this video, maybe because because you were just having fun? I didn't see any of these spots in your Tournament vids, I guess because of the weather pattern?

Scott Martin you are an amazing fisherman. I remember waking up when i younger and rushing to watch your show on tv. My dad and I watched the Scott Martin challenge every single weekend for a few years.

What are some of the spawning lures I should use when fishing very clear water for very big bass the baitfish are gizzard Shad and bluegill. Also if anyone knows any baits please include colors

Solid plan but every day is different every hour is different but thats the fun in competitive fishing is finding that edge over everybody else and finding where and what the fish are doing

What flippin hook do you recommend for the trokar line, flippin hook, big nasty flippin hook, or monster flippin hook? Or when do you use each of them for different applications

With a practice on Harris like that you must have had high expectations.
What a difference a couple of weeks make. Timing is everything.
Good luck on Lanier!

My neighbor is in the tournament and his friend is fishing the pro level. Apparently you know him really well but I can't think of his name. He has a nice grey Phoenix
