Wasnt sure if I wanted to show you this hack, but here it is. You all have been asking for it since I gave you a little hint. This fishing hack will help you totally customize the sounds of your crankbaits. Hopefully this fishing tip and hack will help you catch more fish

First thing I did with a 10xd when I got my hands on one. Used expanding foam in a few and some epoxy in a few -- changes buoyancy. Best way I found to seal the hole when using glue to cease the rattles was to throw some dap/drywall spackling over the hole and then a little epoxy over the top. Always threw baits on a fly tying vise and drilled the hole directly into the bottom-center of the bait. Never had issues with pieces separating.

I have found foam to have many uses. I use it to make stand up rod holders. Cut PVC pipe to length. Stand it up in a 3. 5 gal. plastic pail. Couple inches of foam and you are ready to go. I can get as many as 25 rods in a single bucket. Safe and out of the way. Rods with reels are on the outside.

Scott Im gonna drop you a gem here lol use some ether or mineral spirits on the straw and top of can after you get done and you dont have to throw the whole can away after one use! Took me a little while to figure that out. I use pipe cleaner because thats what I normally have handy

I have a question about using the expandable foam.
In my experience with using the same product for other projects, I have noticed that over time the foam becomes discolored and absorbs and holds moisture. How do you deal your baits to combat this from occurring?

this is where fishing in todays world has been lost. yrs back ya used to constantly tinker with baits to find the hack that separated you. now too many people just cast and wind. they don't try anything new or even different retrieves anymore. bravo!

Question what if you took a hollow body frog and squirted some of that expandable foam in the hole then sprayed flex seal over it would that make it heavier when thrown to the mats or just make it more buoyant

Iv done this befor but with silicone. Just enough to hold the bb in place in the front to move the weight around for the noise to dive. move it to the middle get the even dive but its less clean up to

I'm not about to read 250+ comments to see if anybody warned you guys about not getting this foam on your hands. It's a darn nightmare to remove. I made that mistake in the mid 90's.

Do you need to let the existing beads roll forward, back or to the side when adding the expanding foam to get a unique action, or do you wing it each time to get the unique part?

Had to skip the first 8 minutes of this video cause you know ol Scott has to talk about his rod n reel and hats and t shirts to use
