My only complaint with this tip was the camera angle. I wish the camera had been zoomed in on your hands as you were modifying the bait. But the action is spot on. There's another video on youtube showing under water footage of I believe a smallmouth bass eating an actual crawl in the defensive position you mention in this video and the action of your bait creates looks almost identical to the footage. Thank you for this tip, it is one I will be using.

Not trying to sound like a bum. I think that would be really awesome dude. Thanks for the tips an the help. Find a bird, find a fish

I've slayed bass with lizards like that. Tungsten weight or piece of lead, and small drop shot hook. Same thing as a spring lizard swimming down into a bed. Another thing that works for reaming the hole out is spent. 22 shell or any small caliber empty shell.

Scott your killing me showing this hack. I have used this is the spring when fish see too many senkos this will kill then. That trench hog is one of the best new designs in soft baits to come along in a long time. Chris smithmountain lake.

Instead of using the copper tubing why not just drill the soft plastic out, save yourself the hassle? Looks kind of like that old Flying lure but much better, thanks for the tip Scott. Love your father too.
