Want to improve your cybersecurity / ethical hacking skills but don't know where to start? Cyber security Capture The Flag (CTF) games are the perfect place to practice and learn. picoCTF is a beginner's level computer security game that consists of a series of challenges where participants must reverse engineer, break, hack, decrypt, or do whatever it takes to solve the challenge. The challenges are all set up with the intent of being hacked, making it an excellent, legal way to get hands-on experience. This video is a walkthrough on how to solve the challenges from the picoCTF 2018 game. Consider trying to solve the challenges on your own first, then watch how to solve them. Start the game here: https://2018game.picoctf.com/ This walkthrough was created by John Hammond. To anyone getting hung up on the -Heeeer-s Johnny!- Challenge... in the video John reveals the password as -kissme- I already had some knowledge of using John and I did my own thing a lil ahead of him... my cracked pass came out to be -hellokitty- after being stumped on what he was showing us va what my hash crack showed it seems like between the filming of this video and when I seen it that they changed the flag on us... my password took and got the flag which was also accepted... so don-t get frustrated like I did when it wasn-t coming out the same

On the RSA mad libs, how can I decrypt the flag without using python? Everytime I try decoding the flag with python it doesn't work, and using online decoders are giving me the original plain text.

I-m 31 I know I-m old huh... I have learned a lot in just the first 3 problems... I can-t wait to learn more!!! I-ve been interested in hacking since I was 15 and I-m finally getting to it

That cipher is the top cipher family?
From the first one -Rix- is -The- easily like that can crack: x = e, R = T, i = h.
