Around 59:44 when you set up Cloud9, I had an issue. For me it is requiring a VPC, which I have not configured yet because I don't know anything about that yet. Also, it requires a subnet, which I also know nothing about yet. This seems to be prerequisite knowledge, so you should probably have taught that first... And the part where you said you were not sure why it said you should not use it as a root user - you said you definitely were not the root user. Well I am, and the reason is because you haven't taught me how to not be yet. Now perhaps this course assumes some existing knowledge, but I really dislike when I am cruising along in a course and hit a total stop due to the presumption of knowledge. Now I have to stop this video and go find out how to do these other things before I can continue to follow along. I just wanted to give some feedback so you can improve your course.

Andrew, thank you very much for this course. I just passed my recertification. In many areas I found it better then payed courses that I took for my first developers certificate. In some cases you give deeper information which is very helpfull to get the full picture.
Quick note for the other devs: be aware that there is a second part. I only found out a few hours before the exam:)

it was like looking at myself presenting. You didn't cut out your small goofie mistakes (that we all make), you make -fancy words and definitions- more -Human understanable-. You are so great, i wish i could thank you in person. Thank you so much. I learned so much. even if i fail my certificate, i learned so much and i thank you for it

DynamoDB - Calculating Reads section - 5:28:42 - I think this needs to be reviewed as calculations do not seem to be right for example-3 in strong and eventual consistency each.
(However, indeed this man is champion and I am a big fan here -)
I won't lie but his course helped me a lot in passing the exam!

Great job on the video! Quick thought... I don't think it is accurate that during the cloudfront section, one of the conclusions is that S3 objects need to be public in order for them to be accessible to cloudfront... this can be achieved via bucket policies instead without having to make the objects public

For anyone doing follow along, -1:30:00 , Amazon linux 2 doesn't work with the specified files, fix is to choose node.js on Amazon Linux (deprecated) while you do eb init. FInally delete the 001_- config file in .ebextensions/. Or Go with Procfile as mentioned -Mark Gilligan

Everything about this is fantastic. The only complaint, and this is minor but having lived on zoom/teams for the past couple school terms, when sharing code zoom the window so the code is readable when the video isn't taking an entire person screen. Size 14 font I think was OK.

Thank you so so much, I just passed the exam - I was doing the Acloud Guru course, but if it was not for this video, I would not pass, lot of usefull info and demonstrations. I particulary like the way you explain the infrastructure with images - Perfect

when I run PORT=8080; npm start
I get his error, Error: Cannot find module 'express'
Require stack:
But I reran the express --save cmd from earlier in the program, now it works; (in case someone else had the same issue.)
