While I appreciate the attempt to utilize Excel for real world problems, I'm disappointed by the lack of completeness in your School Shopping Supplies problem. As Susan has three possible stories to shop from, I fully expected you to first determine which store would provide her the best price for each item before calculating total cost. Why would she need three lists of costs and three totals? Is she only planning to go to one store? Or is she going to go to all 3 stores and only buy the items at their lowest cost? And, will she be picking up items for Tim as well? If she is, why isn't she combining the two lists of item quantities needed before figuring costs? If Tim isn't going shopping, why do we need his total at all? Why not make this a real real world experience? Also, I'm surprised that you didn't use $F3 to figure the item cost for each store so that you didn't have to write a new formula in H3 and I3.

I'm about 30 minutes in and I gotta admit, you are brilliant at organizing what you want to teach. You've managed to organize even zooming in and out at specific intervals to teach all those small aspects of the program. Really cool! I never knew excel was so intuitive either.

1:42:44 Can anybody tell me what's wrong with this formula?
=if(F2>22,100-F2+22,22-F2) it gives right answers to '00 and before like '99 , '98 . but for example when Year is 06 it gives answer like 116 instead of just 16. what did I do wrong???

Hi Professor Sluiter, Thank you for your course. I really enjoy it. I am at the Sales Report part, but I did not find the template you mentioned. I went on the link, but I do not see it. Could you help me to locate it? Thank you for your time. E

hello Sir, thank you so much for this. is there a way i can see the solutions to the task you dropped towards the end of the tutorial, I want to know if I got any of them right.
reply

Thank you very much. I do really like the approach of taking tasks instead of knowing what each button does without implementing it into proper context. Thank you!
