And how far apart is too far for the wifi signal
I have the cube in my bedroom and the Recast in the living room. And I cant seem to get the Recast to give a signal to the cube in my bedroom.
And the Recast wont work on my LG TV with the preloaded prime app.
My goal was to use one Recast dvr with the cube in my B room and on my LG TV in the L room with the preloaded prime app.
How can I make this happen
Or do I need to move the Recast in my B room with the cube
Also if I decide to leave the Recast dvr in the L room, is there away to use cables to plug into my LG TV and use the Recast with the preloaded prime app
My TV has wifi, though I dont believe it has Bluetooth.

Hey man, great videos and explanations. I installed the 3rd party version of Amazon Prime Video since i'm from Argentina and i bought a Fire TV Stick in the US some time ago (model W87CUN 1st gen aparently) and it's the only way it showed all of the available content in my country because the native version that came with the device not only doesn't show me all the contents but constantly says internet connection error, try again later despite all my efforts to delete data and cache and then reset absolutely everything. But now the problem with the 3rd party version is that when i try to play anything it tells me something went wrong, try again later, contact prime.... Again, i tried everything but nothing worked. Any ideas or advice Is this happening because of geographical restrictions Will a VPN solve this issue Thanks!!!

Thank you for all those information. A little bit in depth about various options available out there in this stick to get the best experience from also would be great. Let me tell you one example, I had enabled the volume leveler in the settings hoping it will give much more clarity in movie conversations. Unfortunately I wasn't happy about that. The sound was like less louder in my sound system. After investigating some time, I disabled it and the difference was big. The sound become much louder and was better. Like that so many options are there.

Here's a question I don't think you covered: If my Toshiba Fire TV is connected via ethernet cable direct to my router, shouldn't my internet speed (as seen in the onscreen speed test) be at LEAST as fast as the Ookla test I run on my Wi-fi connected laptop
It's not. I'm showing 125mbps on the laptop and 93 or so on the TV.
Would changing the IP address or DNS settings on the Fire TV have any possible impact on this

How do you fix a fire TV that doesn't want to download the latest update Everything else downloads and the tv is fully functional. If I factory reset I have to use the power skip trick to get past the update part. When the tv tells you it can't connect even though it is you hit the power button instead of the back button. Then once the power is off quickly turn back on tv. Should be at the part where you select full or simple mode.

How do you delete apps I keep getting a message to delete apps because my storage is to low and it won't let me watch my program. I've emptied caches but can't force stop the apps. I only have 3 apps that I've downloaded like Netflix and if I can't no need for the fire stick. the other 8 are apps that downloaded automatically by amazon and can't be deleted. I can hardly use my fire stick anymore.

You FINALLY save enough money to buy a Fire TV ($375) , you buy a wall mount ($35) , you get smeone to mount the FIRE TV ($30), you take 5 days to figure how to use the remote and what is available to watch ONLY to realize you STILL have to sign up and purchase shit
Now I understand why cable is expensive because this thing is like preparing for an exam

Appreciated the Bluetooth headphones tipnot sure why I hadn't discovered that feature myself! My main TV does have Bluetooth support so I've typically use that, but THIS allows me to just use my Fire remote and allows me to use Bluetooth headphones on my other two TVs. Awesome.

And you can add HBO MAX through a sideload. I have it running on my FireTV
I have a ROKU platform household and am a huge ROKU fanboy. But the sideload feature is why I also use a Amazon devices.
