Thanks. You started out reviewing by going through the buttons and then after a couple you stopped. I have a swirly back button on my ultra Roku that apparently does nothing when I try to use it. I would have thought it would allow me to move from one live TV program back to the previously viewed program but it does nothing. What does this button do if not that. This is the one feature I miss from my previous TV company, the ability to go back and forth between shows. HELP please

What I liked about this video that other Roku info vids didn't mention or present as well were: that the Roku Ultra allows you to price movies and select from the cheapest; that it's very fast; that there is a remote finder button in case you misplace the remote; that there's a huge number of apps you can choose from; host describes how a cell phone works with Roku; and the host was very personable! I'm giving him a most personable video host award.

How do you insert a microSD card into the Roku Ultra Mine doesn't seem to want to go in. The most detailed instructions I can find on the Internet explain the insertion process as follows: Then insert the microSD card.
And that's it. NO explanation of HOW to insert the card. Which end of the card goes in Which side should be facing up and which should be facing down The geniuses who explain the process don't say.

Funny, my old Roku's control the volume of the tv and headphones. I like the fact that you can turn the tv volume all the way down, plug in the headphones, turn the volume up, remove the headphones ferom the jack and the tv volume is still all the way down. Love my Roku's!! Of course, I'm not a gamer, so maybe I should be disappointed....alas my life is so shtty....

I have Spectrum Cable/internet/phone/mobile and I use Samsung Smart TV and Roku (on analog tube TVs) to get my cable TV through the internet. I also have a Sony DVD/Smart TV, but it does not support the Spectrum Cable TV app. Have you done any reviews of Smart TVs (there are several systems e.g. Roku installed/ Smart TV, Web IOS, and etc.)

Honestly the biggest selling points to me are the ETHERNET PORT and headphone jack. I live in an apartment which means my wireless signal blows, at all times--too many signals bouncing around. Without the port I'm doomed to constant buffering. All these devices these days are going pure wireless. No ethernet port, no buy from me.

A question please. I am purchasing a ROKU Ultra. If I am listening through the private headphone jack on the remote can my wife also listen to the TV volume or receive sound through our LG Soundbar (Digital Optical cable) at the same time. We each have different listening needs. Thank you.

I have the Ultra model 4640x which looks just like the one in this video with the same remote. Even though mine does not have a power button, you can use the voice search button. Saying off and sleep will turn off the TV and yeah the volume button works with the TV as well.

I didn't have luck with the ultra. I would lose Dolby surround sound every few days and would have to do a factory reset to get it back, only to lose it again a few days later. Support from Roku sucked. I returned the ultra and went back to the Roku 3.

When hitting the power button on my Roku Ultra device, I notince that the TV turns off, but the device itself seems to stay on. Is this normal Also, occasionlly, the TV will start back-up. AM I dong someting wrong

Yes it does control power and volume on tv. Also did not touch on using the usb for playing your own music or viewing your photos from a flash drive or external hard drive.

It’s 2019, My Roku ultra’s Volume buttons control my tv volume and I only payed $99 at Target... I love it! Glad for the updates on it since it was released.

Roku ultra does contorted the volume on my TV. In fact all my Roku devices control the TV volume. No software upgrade needed.

It appears this model does not have a USB port for a flash stick of mp4's or jpg's. That kills the deal for me.
