i followed the process right from the beginning and i ended up formatting everything before getting to the part about recovery. Thank you for the video but you should have cautioned us to recover first before using the cmd to format. i am glad i can access my hard disk again but super sad i lost all my data. I dont know what i feel anymore. so sad

Sooo I load the program but unlike other data recovery programs (which failed to find any files on the RAW drive) this Recoverit can't even detect the drive in question...
