YouTube Not Working on Mac? (Fixed Step by Step)

I don-t use Safari. I use Firefox. Mac Catalina 10.15.7. I do use the uBlock Origin Ad blocker.
The only suggestion you provided that always works is a full restart.
Symptoms: The page will load. The video will not stream. Sometimes the audio will play with frozen video. I try using Chrome. Same symptoms.
This freezing condition occurs after watching multiple YouTube videos without any problems. But once it goes bad, only a restart works. The failure to stream often occurs after a Google Search looking for another YouTube video.
It is so totally annoying. Restarting always restores full You Tube functionality but I should not have to be restarting my computer like EVER due to bad code from somewhere. Either Apple, Google or You Tube which is owned by Google.
Normally I can run my Mac for weeks without a restart. This ONLY happens with YouTube and I have been unsuccessful in finding a solution.

I had to laugh a YT Video that explains why YT won't load on a MAC... luckily that's not my problem... my issue is it plays everyone's videos but won't upload my videos using safari. It allows me to click the upload and shows the YTStudio in the address bar but freezes. This is an older MAC 2014? with updated OS to the Big Sur. Mine is not a laptop, it's a desktop. And I'm on Ethernet and all else is working btw this video is the most all encompassing thorough video I am saving for future needs!!! Great Job-MAJOR KUDOS

The youtube website stopped loading on both my Mac and PC a few days ago. A simple DNS cache clear fixed the issue on the PC. I've tried everything under the sun and cant get youtube to load on the Mac. I've tried both Safari and Chrome. All other websites work fine. What is going on?

I have this problem where my recent searches won't show up on the YouTube search bar on my New MacBook Air 2017, recent searches showed up on my old MacBook Air 2017. I haven't been able to figure it out, I would appreciate any help if any one knows a fix

At first I was a lil upset that you were talking tooo much too fast and I couldn-t understand anything lol but I started clicking and doing things and like magic YouTube is opening again on my Safari. Don-t know Why and How, but it-s working now! Thank you!!!!

I am trying to watch a video from one of my favorite vloggers but it keeps freezing at 8:37! It doesn't happen on other videos! Is there a solution to this? I should mention I am using a MacBook Air 2019.

Suddenly I can't watch You Tube in Full-screen mode? I use an Imac and whenever I try to Enlarge . . . it Shuts-Off and reverts-me-back to my Desktop screen? Any help or assistance is appreciated.

I can't watch your video because youtube will not play properly on my macbook pro. It fast-forwards, stops, then defaults to images from about twelve programs I could click on.
