Start the program.
Disk selection window appears, and I select the system drive C.
Ok. Wait. The scanning will take some time.
Ready. The application has scanned disk C and showed which folders, file types and files take up most disk space. Make sure that you are not going to delete any important system files - it-s safer to delete personal files only. If a folder of some program in Program Filestakes up much space, you can delete it - WinDirStat will show you how much space it takes, even if you can-t see it in Programs and Features.
Find and delete duplicate files with a free program VisiPics
First of all, download and install the program. It-s a simple step that takes little time.

Start the program.
You should select the disk to search for duplicate files and add it to the list for analysis. In my case, it is disk C. Add it.
Click on the -Start- button. Now wait - it can take some time.
Ready.
As we can see, the program found several duplicates taking up quite a lot of space. Select the unnecessary copies of this file and delete them. Ready.
Now you can see that I-ve managed to free up enough space in disk C.
Make sure that you are not going to delete any important system files - it-s safer to delete personal files only.
