While I like watching YouTubes videos (mainly for educational or entertainment purposes) and also respecting your decision to leave Microsoft I cannot help but feel that those people who make a living out of making videos for YouTube are in a sense a little parasitical in that the only -product- is their own income from appearing on YouTube. In fact Kevin by your own admission you still have a backstop in that your wife still works for Microsoft - something that the average person does not have such a luxury to pursue something else like you have. I am retired now and in hindsight, I think I made a pretty good living doing what I did (an RN for forty years) as I got the satisfaction of helping others less fortunate than myself. In way, I think those like yourself who are going to make a living from what I think is a nonproductive activity are quite selfish in a sense and it leaves me thinking it is all down to greed for want of a better word for it.

Hey Kevin the video that you just came out with was very honest - well done we are but one world but with so many avenues to take, that's the essence of life my Son. Remember when you board an areo plane the safety info tells you to put the air mask on your face first and you have done that. You are going to be very successful. I have never worked for anyone I tried for I think 2 weeks and just couldn't it wasn't me. I became a millionaire at 35 and I have been helping others do the same. You are very bright and never forget nothing just happens, there is a reason forevthing there is so much more to life read up on metaphysics

Hi Kev, you are a good friend on mine in my mind...lol. All kidding aside, if you are making a move that's making you happy, then you are golden; even if things didn't go as plan, you are the kind of person that will stay strong and will start a new plan and succeed. I can totally relate to your journey as I already walked that path and you are going to do better than you think; your happiness, joy and satisfaction with yourself will continue to exponentially grow...very happy, proud of you and very thankful for all your help with your amazing videos...see you soon!

That was a very logical and inspiring walk through of your decision. Your videos have been very helpful for me at work. I do think you have a natural ability for this and I agree that this could become a great opportunity. If I was these larger software companies they should consider hiring you to do their videos for projects. I know this happened a year ago so I hope it has been all that you had wanted it to be. It is always best to be brave and take risks.

Bravo, Kevin! Excellent video, one that you didn't have to make but one you obviously felt you -owed- your followers. This act of yours shows a high sense of responsibility to and respect for those of us who follow you. Your video is a great example of what it means to be a problem solver and a decision maker. You probably already know this, but you are a natural as a motivational speaker. Thanks for your -apologia pro vita mea- and good luck in all you do!

Thanks for your sharing your rationale for leaving Microsoft. I particularly liked the reason of spending more time with your son. Your reasons should be helpful to some of your followers who are on the fence. Your videos have been very helpful in increasing my level of comfort with technology. I cannot imagine anything but continued success in your new venture. I look forward to future videos. Thanks Kevin!!

I did it 40 years ago, took a 2nd on the house and started my own carpet cleaning business. I was a little worried, but a fellow carpet cleaner said -you'll make some bad decisions and you'll make some good decisions, but they will be your decisions-. I retired 20 years ago, and still miss the customers.

I would like to see a step-by-step, 123, videos, I mean a video where you have a goal, let's say, how to download a new program and then execute it. Not so much about all that you could do with the said program but more specific. I meant, a series of short and to the point videos.

I love the this man talk. Totoong totoo, ramdam mo sa mga salita niya and kita sa mga mata at facial expression. Even his other tutorials or videos. So I think that's a great decision to help a greater number of people. Good luck, Kevin!
