1:40 -the usb ports are usb 2.0- but how is that relevant to using it as a wireless display. You also mention the usb 3.0 ports being a plus later but again how is that relevant if you're using it wirelessly? Also, Isn't the speed of a device like this dependent almost solely on the internet speeds & your laptop's wireless adapter(if ur not going full ethernet). Also are the wireless displays wireless-capable both ways as in, no cord connection between laptop & monitor, and no cord connection between monitor and router(can the monitor connect to wifi)?

Can you have a wireless monitor _without_ a wired monitor to set up the wireless one? I mean, for a wireless keyboard, I don't need a second keyboard to fill in the setup-necessities for connecting the wireless one. What's the use of a wireless monitor, if you need another monitor to start the connection all the time!

the technology must develop for gaming, so instead buying expensive graphic card spending some more money on powerful processors and ram will be better option because the display speed will depend on wi fi speed which is directly connected to processor not graphic adaptor.

I want to try the $50 adapter. Why are wireless monitors not recommended for gaming? I really don't know if I believe that wireless monitors are real and want to see one work in person.

What-s a wireless monitor and do you need a pc for the monitor to work or do you just need to connect the wires to the wall and the monitor.
