I am sending e- mails every week to check in with new adopters from the dog rescue that I volunteer with. I include a link to a folder in a google drive with files about recommended trainers, how to register their microchip, etc. The list of adopters is in airtable, so I first copy and paste that into a source doc in excel and then my letter is in word. What you have demonstrated here seems like a lot of extra steps just to get a custom subject line. Also, by sending a link to the files, we can make updates or add files and they would have access to those, rather than a static attachment. Would there be any other advantage to running it through PA instead of just doing it from word that I have not considered?

Kevin - very interesting and useful for creation of the mail merge. Perhaps you could add on a step for execution. I work with a number of -branch office- scenarios in which the staff have minimal IT background and no interest in learning, but have a task to perform. Setting up a -button- on the desktop or on a website that they can press to execute the Power Automate function would be useful. Thanks for your consideration.

Nice tutorial. I added a column for conditional checks so I can have a running list of various contacts for different situations. I deliver a lot of reports and users are wanting to veer away from E-mail notifications so I now send them an MS Teams chat message when their reports are ready to view. It helps me maintain a distribution list that is selectable based on the report name.
Good stuff... keep'em coming.

Dear Kevin, many thanks for this useful tutorial video. I was wondering if you could have another video about converting Form response (with attachment as supporting documents) to PDF (custom format) and then email approver for approval (or rejection if applicable) and finally send notification to a form responder about the request status.
Thanks in advance.
Regards, Sothearith

Fabulous, thanks Kevin, worked a treat but the email is not sending all of the record field and is restricted. I sorted this before when merging to always have a dummy record with the maximum number characters in my listing, but still it doesn't do it using online Excel with PA. Is the record pre-set to a minimum with online?

18:33 Format data properly in Excel
In my table, can I add 2 extra unofficial columns with the ff:
- amount due [accounting format/eg $7,500.00]
- due date [formula/eg =TODAY()+2]
Then paste the data to the corresponding columns as text? or there's no other way but to manually type them again?

At times there are multiple mails which are addressed to the same individual, however, as a best practice, it is preferred to not send multiple mails to the same person and club all the information in one mail before shooting the mail. Is there a way that can be automated ?

What if we want the attachment to be unique to a specific person/ company.
Does power automate have the capability to search for the unique attachment within a folder and select the relevant attachment for that person/company?
Also great video!

This was very straight forward and easily digested. One advanced question I would have about Power Automate is whether a table can be added / populated using this method. I'm going to play with it a bit and see if that's possible. Thanks for this content.
