I-m so mad, my dad got my bro a tablet and let him set it up (he was a kid at the time and didn-t know tf he was doing) he deleted google play store, now years after it being only used once I-m trying to use it but I can-t fix the -google play has stopped working- error message, i go to the apps (the settings are so vague and there isn-t a lot), i don-t have google play but I can find google play services, i click on it and I can either force stop it or uninstall it, I-m afraid to uninstall it and not be able to ever install it again.. idk what to do lol.. a good tablet gone to waste .

-FYI FOR ALL THOSE UNABLE TO INSTALL THE LAST VENDING FILE: Make sure that the file you downloaded has a grey -APK- icon next to it and not a green -Bundle- icon. It's a silly mistake that I myself overlooked simply because the bundle file happened to be the latest non beta one on the list. I know others are having this issue but no one has mentioned the solution. I hope this helps. -

Thanks. I was concidering putting Android 10 firmware on my device just to have Google Play Store and now I won't have to.
I was able to put RetroArch on my device with an .apk file and it works great. Was concidering putting on a frontend through Google Play so this will make it easier.

I bought the Amazon Fire HD 8 (10th Generation) and I'm having issues with the Framework. I keep getting the msg (There was a problem parsing the package). I've tried several of the (Android 10+) versions and I keep getting the same msg.

I did this, it works pretty well. The only problem is the Play Store wants to update the Alexa app, which makes it not work because the Amazon App store says it's been side loaded and disables it. Be sure to turn off updating.

Anyone have issues with Battery drain on a fire 7? I have since removed Google Play Services and the battery is night and day different now. Fire 7 tablet lasts very long.
