I have posi locks for camera and light equipment but instead of having those tubes physically welded on, mine allows the tubes to pass through the lock. Search eBay for -Neewer- multi functional heavy duty grip head or Double Dual Grip Swivel Head Bracket for Studio Boom Arm Reflector Holder Stand. You can pick these up for as little as $8 and make all kinds of combinations for your microphone and lighting booms.

I need that extension thing, and the weighted arm! I'm using an arm which clamps on my desk, but it's not very sturdy and I'd like to get a new desk without limiting my choice to one with a decent sized lip.

Hello. Does anybody here use USB 3.0 to HDMI adapters for display output? After reading a while about them I'm scared to buy anything out of fear of incompatibility. What models do you use and what to look out for?

Why do we need a capture device ? Couldn't we connect mirrorless camera directly to the laptop ? does camlink work fine with linux ?
