Nice, a quick suggestion, if you're gonna do this in audio only format also, you need to talk a little bit slower, and take frequent breaks while speaking here and there. Also for the background music you are playing, you can use sidechain compression, for when you speak it automatically ducks the music down.

Hey DT, there is one main thing about the Fediverse that you forgot to mention. With so many of the services using ActivityPub, the different services are also interconnected just like different instances of the same service. I can use my mastodon account to friend/follow someone on frendica or peertube etc.

While Fedora follows a static release model, they roll along with the latest upstream kernel, i.e. Fedora users don't have to wait for Fedora 33 but should be on Linux 5.8 in a couple of days.

The git page of invidious has some people working on a redirect page to different instances. They seem to know what they're doing. The project is not over but it might slow down for a while

I -like- love your no-nonsense say-it-like-it-is no political correctness or unrewarded politeness attitude about your feelings toward proprietary OS crap

For episode two, perhaps you can cover an alternative to Patreon? Their politics aren't something some want to associate with. Have you considered switching?

This is great content. I like the format and just the right amount of time spent on each topic (for me). Note to self: get on lbry and mastodon.
