So Windows 11 is essentially the Microsoft version of MacOS. Meh, it does look nice. Except you can't move the taskbar anymore. Man, you really missed the mark on this -review.-
Most importantly I had to downvote this because you failed to mention the TPM requirement which makes Windows 11 unable to run on 99.99% of consumer computers; and that includes many brand new computers. What -genius- came up with that pointless requirement? And why didn't you mention it? Illuminati? Q? Not only did no consumer PCs come with TPM even a few months ago but it's difficult to buy a TPM for your three month old computer because they stopped making TPMs due to the chip shortage so they're skyrocketing in price.
Total fail of a review.

Problem is Kevin, of the five people I talk to regularly in games, only one has a computer capable of running W11.
Most have very powerful computers, but with older hardware that just isn't supported.
None of them say they will be spending another $2,500+ to update their MB/Graphics Card, RAM & Processor just to get W11, which, to be honest, will most likely be more intrusive into your privacy and aimed at monetizing everything you do.

Typical of Microsoft. Easily suck you in, then open the digital wallet to start paying MS for cloud, 365, and even Windows11 itself. I tend to believe I'm a user but pretty much unknown. With maybe 10-15 yrs left for me on the planet, I prefer to stay -Digital Neutral- and much as possible. I would prefer my family and friends not seeing me as a speech bubble announcing that USER 104593872 passed away at his keyboard.

Thanks Kevin, can you explain if there is any difference in the quick access folders and those you seen under my libraries. If I save something in quick access folders ! are these the same folders, its confusing the repeated folders. This is even before you like up with ONE DRIVE folders. Thanks. Mary

Correction since publishing: You can sign into Windows 11 using a local account (although it's not quite as intuitive as you might think!). When it asks for your Microsoft account details, click -sign-in options- and then select -Offline account-.

I look for my apps alphabetically. I also used the tiles. What I do resent the most is the fact they accept all Intel chips and totally excluded AMD FX and all the other chips. This is a very costly upgrade for people like me.

Hi Kevin, are the folders which appear in -quick access- the same as those folders under libraries in PC [ not to confuse with one drive]
This is my PC only query. Can I turn quick access off !.. Thanks, Mary

Thank you for creating this informative video, Kevin. Well done. I registered as a Windows Insider Developer, installed Windows 11, and I love it! It's my favorite update so far.

I have Windows 11 up and running on my 2007 Dell T5400 without a single hitch. Pc runs dual Xenon Quad cores 16 gb ECC ram, and an SSD. Definitely faster.
