Hated One? I can not find how to get Duckduckgo Search Engine on to my Andoid phone. I've done what ddg says and made other inquires elsewhere but no go. The problem i now see is i have not Extensions. Extensions was removed after a hard master re-set for hackers achieved in hacking my phone.
The Mac Laptop has Ddg Broswer and Ddg Search Engine. Only Bing Google Yahoo. I had Ddg on this phone, but the hard master re-set eliminated Extensions. Is my Samsung Android ruined or has Google Cock Blocked me?

I am extremely sympathetic to and conversant with the reasons why Google is very dangerous. I also use Google because by properly tweaking it, I get results unavailable, easily, elsewhere. But I do not use that very often--only when I need to. Otherwise, I tend to use Duck search and also a Startpage search. I am quite grateful for Duck as well as Startpage, I would not want a culture deprived of their honesty and reliability. And I send

I agree with your good post. However, you may want to add Swiss Cows to your list. It is absolutely private, no searches saved, and much more. It's HQ is in the Swiss Alps! I find it to be the best after a lot of research of my own. StartPage was purchased by data mining company System 1, which is quite concerning. I think I read that on Restoring Privacy web site, a very good site for reference.

I've switched to startpage. Although it fetches its results from google, the autocomplete and some results are not censored. For example, searching for thepiratebay will show it on the first result. It seems google sends them the -good- results for startpage, but censor it for google's users.

I give up on duck duck go. It doesn't bring up a complete list and I ended up going back to google just to get a full list of choices. this is critical when you're working. looking for another search engine now. here.

and for god's sake. on Quant there are available MAPS based on OpenStreetMap; ) this is also so damn important and very useful as an alternative to Google Maps (of surveilance.
