Firefox Fake News - Open Source champion for privacy turns evil - Time for Firefox alternatives? - The Hated One Firefox fake news bandwagon is happening. Mozilla joins fake news propaganda Is it time for Firefox alternatives? Let's analyze the Mozilla Information Trust Initiative It depends on how important the issue of this establishment agenda is for you. If you fear fake news will censor Internet, then you can ditch Firefox in favor of alternatives like Palemoon or Waterfox. But don't fall into false illusions that by switching to Chrome from Firefox, you are doing the world a favor by boycotting Firefox fake news agenda. The Mozilla Information Trust Initiative Is Mozilla fake news now? Mozilla recently launched a systemic effort called as Mozilla Information Trust Initiative to use Firefox to combat fake news and misinformation on the Internet. What Mozilla wants to do now with the whole Firefox, Pocket and Coral filtering fake news thing, is to basically serve as a useful idiot to the established mainstream media. Media need to be challenged. Clearing their path off of competition will only make the credible

Fake news is true but idk why you said censorship is a left wing thing? Anyway all mainstream media is fake news with an agenda in how they will shape public opinion and with end goals in mind. And even sites which try to give relevant information online often give wrong information by mistake too. But what can you do if you Google an event like ww2 and the first 10, 000 results are all troll results which make a story like ww2 began when Godzilla invaded Europe etc. Leave them because removing them would be censorship? You could say remove them but then who draws the line and decides what's relevant information and what's fake news? It's a big problem because either way we end up either with trolls destroying the internet drowning it in a sea of misinformation so that real information is like finding a needle in a haystack, or you end up with us all being presented with what to believe and everything else being censored. I think a great idea would be if the search engine shows everything by default then also there's a drop-down list you can use to select something to toggle on or off such as show results approved by X university or show results approved by FDA etc then that will rearrange your results to filter them according to the authority you choose, so you can see what that authority claims is the correct information on the topic, but then you can always select a different authority or turn them all off to see every result. Also that'd have to be international so for example you could toggle to see what the Iranian government officially thinks is correct about a political issue. It would also be a very interesting and useful tool and it solves the fake news problem, now everyone will say -trust us use our setting on Google we are the real news we filter it properly for you- to try and convince us they are right and to use their filter, but we don't have to, and some genuinely good ones who strive to find fact and evidence based news in a completely impartial unbiased way would emerge.

People are so paranoid about their -privacy- and in the meantime sharing every move of their lives on social media. You conspiracy theorists are killing me. Just go live in the woods and get it over with lol
I use chrome and all of Google services and I know they track my shit. Let them. There is absolutely no -alternative-. Period. Every single browser out there does the same shit. They all track you. That's their business. That's how they make money for giving you free shit. Dont like it? Drop the interent all together so you can have your safe space. Because just the fact that you're connected to the internet gives you away. All you can do is, dont click on ads or just block them like I do.

Credible sources Do exist - they're the ones that lie and err less. They do both of those things, but not as much as others.
That means, if you get info on the same thing from two credible sources but there are aspects that contradict each other you turn to a third, fourth. source, compare them, make up your mind.
It means you everything and anything from anyone with a grain of salt and double - check whenever you are in doubt.
It means you distinguish between fact and opinion, and get suspicious when others do not.
But all of this is a matter for education, not censorship or Like contests.

That -diversity- nonsense gives me a sick feeling in my gut. This is how it starts. I have no problem with diverse workplaces, but when you start waving this stuff around like a flag, it's a harbinger of things to come. woke and broke things. As I watched this video I remembered Vivaldi, and downloaded it.
Oh, and Mozilla. white people, including white men and white women. are the minority on this planet. Are you going to promote equal rights for us too?

I am deeply shocked by mozilla. Credible news organisations is subjective. What, like CNN, Sky News, the BBC or RT. oh yeah. I am switching now ( a bit late ) because they would even think about doing something like this. Utterly unethical. I regret I only just found this.

-credible news-gathering organization like the Wall Street journal-. .. LMAO WHAT the same WSJ THAT SAID PewDiePie was a nazi?
-left leaning- and -credible- don't belong in the same sentance (yes people on the right are the same)

funny how you in a later tutorial video say everyone should use firefox. kind of a time waste watching you figuring out yourself how security works and distributing half truths and just plain wrong information along the way

Mozilla and Firefox have sold out to Google, the internet fascists.
They are no longer part of the solution - they are part of the problem.
Open source and blockchain based browsers are the future.

Nobody should be able to decide what is real or fake news. The right to free speech is the right to lie.
Remember, the what a person considers the truth is largely based upon their perspective.
