This work the first time but it reverted back to google lens and it doesn't work anymore even if I have it disabled. Tried enabling, relaunching and disabling again and it didn't change anything. Is there another way to remove it completely so it doesn't come back?

Just an ad for using Google lens.
This method worked with the last update, but with the new update, 'Disable' is already selected, and ta-da, the sh!t house Google lens is still there.
