You videos have help me a lot in my 1st assignment of creating an Excel interaction dashboard together with Power Query. Now at least i can automate the task of cleaning/merge data table and visualizing the data! Everyone loves the slicer.
I have a question: i can-t add Field list in the Pivot Table when I connect The Table to data model from Power Queries.
I don-t want to load the data from Power Queries to minimise the file size (too many rows). Is there anyway to add the field list for Pivot Table connected to data model? It would be great if you can share tips.
Thanks a lot!

This is superb! Clear instruction and audio, like that you give multiple and or repeated examples. A decent set of data too, rather than the all too common 5 line table in other -training- videos. Thank you very much :) My work reports for next month are going to look sensational!!!

For some reason when I make the Line Pivot table, my Months/Years are not visible in the table itself, I only see the values. The graphs still come out okay, but I'm not sure why the table is hiding the rest of the data

Great video. I find your voice very nice for teaching too which is always a plus. I did pivot tables during Uni but haven't touched them in almost 4 years so needed a quick refresher and this delivered.

Thank you for the detailed training .
This is one of the best training webinars I-ve ever watched. Just the right balance of detail, time, and usability. Wonderful voice to listen to, as well

I had to search out how to turn on Generate GetPivotData function in Options under PivotTable Analyze before I could set up the sparklines. This was a very helpful tutorial, thank you!

Hello! My doubt is, while creating Category Pivot Chart, we sorted the Grand Total column from Smallest to Largest. Then why the chart is showing from Largest to Smallest?
reply

Really Liked it,but for some reason by charts and noy linked and when i add slicer it doesnot work on all charts. I copies the picots like u mentioned using Ctrl and Slide.
