They should have never made a Facebook application. They should have just kept Facebook strictly on the world wide web. now unless you have the app and your logged into Facebook you can't even go on the world wide web and see anyone's Facebook account. Another thing that's very strange is you cannot block a celebrity or business Facebook account which mean that a celebrity or business can stalk you at any time. Facebook they won't do anything about stalkers but they'll do plenty to people who are being stalked and treat you like an antagonist. I remember Tom from Myspace he never will block anyone's account. in my space was funner and just had a certain amount of privacy that Facebook just doesn't have. Facebook is a arrogant business. The government should make Facebook have a customer service available for all people 24 hours a day. If you don't talk and act like mark he don't want you on fb. soon fb will be a memory just like Myspace with less fond memories. Tom wanted to be your friend on Myspace. mark don't even want to know you. In general fb sucks.

The value of User data is where the REAL gold mine is for these corporates and others out there for many different purposes. Shared, sold, and traded to one another for various advantages. The selling of any physical merchandise by ads is just an added bonus for some of them. And if they get caught, or rather. simply questioned about it publicly in high places, just apologize, smile or frown, promise to do better by being. (haha) transparent, hide what they're doing deeper in their proprietary coding until caught again, & repeat again. business as usual. Sued? No worries. They've got $Billions$ and an army of lawyers in every country. And their 'terms' of service.

Not to be like that, but what if Zuckerberg is used by someone else and is not on his own? I mean it's so easy to use media to completely destroy anyone and I know almost everyone who's rich already use this method. He might be played with like a doll by someone who will simply find another doll if zuckerberg gets all the shame, and then continue to hide while these chosen people like Zuckerberg himself will get so much hate form the people.
I know this might sound crazy, but please give this an honest try to understand that it could be possible. I mean think about exactly what kind of power media has over people nowdays.

When my PC was brand new I refused to visit facebook for nearly a year, not once ever touching that site (Until containers) But before containers I was paying my internet bill and noticed facebook connecting in the bottom left corner of my browser. It pissed me off so bad SO BAD, I WAS FURIOUS. I hate Facebook so bad! I don't use google search either. 100% DuckDuckGo. I do use Google sheets though and gmail: / I have Protonmail too just haven't had the ambition to fully switch over.

Overall, it's not like Zuc himself is the problem. the sociological ramifications of the platform seems like an unstoppable system. I think it could be adjusted if the system itself was changed, but that's going to take real pressure from other similarly-powerful forces (for example, anti-trust legislation, or a surgeon general's warning about the mental health effects.

How long does he rehearse what he is going to say? Study him, study his movements and eye contact. This guy seems more humannoid than ACTUAL human. He has seemed like a CLONE when you REALLY Observe him, more CONTROLLED than a FREE thinking person. That's how I observe him. Good analysis of the dodgy rhetoric. I think he added a bit of generational snark in there. trying to make the older legislators look silly for asking the questions they did. The average user (who does not realize that they are being USED) would hear those questions as pointless, like asking -how much air is in the sky- or something like that.

Zuckerberg said in around 2010 that no one ever had any need for anonymity. That should have taken him out of the game. But Arab Spring proved how useful Facebook was - to the CIA. The politicians are forced to use both Facebook and Twitter. It is literally not possible to ignore either.
