Now, if you advocated for abolishing competition based socio-economic system with collaboration based one, that would've been a different story, it would've been a contradiction. But you can't have both competition -and- -Google should limit its own competitive edge-.
Also, looking towards governmental regulations basically equals to agreeing that -free market/competition based economic system- is not a good system. Which is true, by the way.

On top of using duckduckgo over google, i would strongly recommend using a more secure/private browser in place of googles chrome browser. I personally use firefox due to its constant updates and support, the endless addons you can install, and settings you can customize. Also firefox does not track you as long as you uncheck all the tracker settings, has a built in ad blocker, blocks cookies and trackers, and many other security/privacy settings built in

Given that search results are not a naturally occurring phenomenon and that all search results are the product of at least some human engineering what differentiates a -manipulated- search result from one that is not so? From the outside looking in is there anyway to look at a result set and determined that it was manipulated? Right now it feels a little subjective.

More than 99% of the internet is dark/deep internet and to access that we need tor browser which have duck duck go as it's default search engine. My question is how does duck duck go don't have traffic? It should have more traffic than all of the search engines combined.
