3 things: -almost anonymous signup- - you can't be more anonymous than that, literally. -Their auto mode wasn't great- - Mullvad has no auto mode, it literally defaults to sweden servers for anyone, be it from EU, US or Asia, etc there are no pings beforehand, no auto mode exists. -my ping decreased by. - no, it increased. Ping is the delay. Lower=better. Ping increases on a vpn, not decreases.
Overall glad you covered Mullvad despite them not offering you -or anyone- affiliation. In my book, and in a consumers book this is a huge unique positive, sad you didn't mention this. It means they truly care about their service and wanna make it by word to mouth instead of paying off reviewers like the majority of popular vpns, it should at least deserve a mention, even if it doesn't personally benefit you as a minority (reviewer. Overall I'd also recommend this service to advanced users, and I highly suggest using OVPN profiles for windows, its much faster for now (for me in EU) and they are currently scrapping the entire client anyways (confirmed via email. Also I wanna mention it would have been good to test if their cash system actually worked, since it's so unique. I actually tested it via mail and it took 5 days for my anonymous account to be given runtime. I think overall as time passes and VPNs become more and more common to not only support the big ones, Comcast likes, but rather look at small ones who work based on ethics and moral opposed to profit and also give credit for this, in the end it's good for consumers to have a choice between many different viable services and not have a handful of key magnates dominating the market. Especially since this is concerning consumer privacy.

I use mullvad vpn services. I'm kinda disappointed for you not reviewing the wireguard part, as it's a truly outstanding protocol. (I use it daily as a sysadmin and did a mention his ip roaming features)
I use mullvad only for wireguard support. Not only is difficult to find a service that supports it, but it is also difficult to find a privacy company doing that well.
Huge kudos to mullvad, for me it wins 10-0 with any other vpn service on the net.

Mullvad actually gives me amazing ping for gaming. I have a ISP with really bad routing to AU but once I connect to Perth, my ping is legit only 5ms more with the VPN ON!
I have previously used ProtonVPN SINCE the BETA so yeah goes to show Mullvad has improved dramatically. I have tried every VPN so far for gaming and hands down this is the best and most underrated.

Openvpn is great to use. If you are to lazy to learn to use it then that's really on the user. If you use it from terminal and not the gnome you can water tight almost all vpns.
No point using a VPN with windows. Windows is trash you may as well drop your lap top down the street open because that's what windows 10 is.

Even when they don-t have the apps for android and iOS, which is 100% important, they got tied to Nord. Unbelievable lol. I will still use ExpressVPN until Nord gets sorted out. I will only use Nord no matter what just because it has everything. Even the apps for android, iOS. Thanks for reviewing: D --

Mullvad is the first VPN I am using. Not happy at all. Mainly using the VPN for torrents and my 1gbit speed dropped to below 200mbit in download speed and between 300-600 in upload. Yes my hardware is not the greatest but didnt expect this kind of difference. Gonna try out NordVPN or VPNexpress instead

I-ve used soooo many different VPN companies in my search for the ideal. Mullvad was stable, fast, anonymous and well priced. But the deal breaker for me was lack of ad-blocking (must have for me.

I used it in China, if setting is correct, connection is instant. The speed is not best, but it works in China. A lot better than NordVPN and Express VPN about getting connected quickly in China.

Hi, awesome info dude, any advice for best VPN for iPhone? In London?
I couldn-t find between your videos but perhaps you have done info on that? If possible send me a link would you?

Great I see this review, this makes me conclude that Mullvad may not be the best choice for me. And the community recommended it. So it was good that I did my own research now.
