I'm REALLY torn between PIA and Proton VPN. Yeah they do log time stamps, but that really isn't a worry because its literally jsut timestamps. There isn't really anything you can do with timestamps. The real kicker for me is that they're out of the 5/9/14 eyes jurisdiction, while PIA is not only in that jurisdiction, but it's in the US(py)A. If anyone has experience with both services, let me know you thoughts on which I should choose. Currently I'm using PIA, but I'm thinking about switching.

payment is beyond reasonable doubt. Protonmail has the option for 4096 bit encryption, no-one is gonna crack it without a quantum chip. Even if the gvmnt wants your emails the have to go through the Swiss high courts and even at that all your emails are encrypted. So if you don't give them your email pass they can't access your emails. Happy waterboarding folks.

Proton vpn is way better Now, I stopped using 1 year ago because it's speed was little bit low and I moved to NordVPN
3 weeks ago I came back to ProtonVPN because NordVPN customer service was very bad.
The speeds on the pro servers are more than enough for me
Looks like I'm gonna be using Proton for a long time

It doesn't matter if the company is based in Switzerland. If you have servers in other countries you have to adjust the policy to the country where the servers are located. Beside they have received money from the Swiss government. Anyway, its always better to use VPN from Europe (except Sweden) than from US.

TOR browser was super simple to download. There is a link to it within the Brave browser. And for downloading the Brave browser, they give you 35 Basic Attention Tokens (BAT. The amount of tokens they give you apparently depends on the value of the BAT cryptocurrency at the time you download the browser.

So this is interesting; if I try to go to protonvpn(dot)com using firefox it says -secure connection failed-, if I try with Internet Explorer it says -This page canrsquo; t (sic) be displayed-, but if I try with Tor it takes me straight there lol. What is my ISP up to? I want it more now.

ProtonVPN is the only VPN you should be using. Based in Switzerland, easy to use app, good speeds, GREAT SECURITY. BASED IN SWITZERLAND. and if you pay yearly, very fair price. I went with Proton Basic and am i very happy. think ive had 1 disconnect so far in 7 months. i'm on Win10.

Confused about the P2P traffic on the Free version. You said: -within the program- it wont allow you to download torrents. Do you have to go through the program for the VPN to be working? I only want a VPN for anonymous torrent downloading, so if it doesn't work it's useless to me.

How is ProtonVPN recommended when they are in a country (Switzerland) that is cooperative with the Fourteen Eyes and logs timestamps? They don't offer wiregaurd yet, they have some P2P port blocking and to my knowledge haven't ever had their policies tested in court?

Do not download proton these days as it could contain a Trojan my Google account was stolen by it and other people with antivirus with active protection have said that their antivirus detected it as a Trojan
