it makes it so easy to obsess over the lives of people who aren't in your life anymore and makes it impossible to move on and let go as we naturally should. When I deleted it I started to focus on myself and my own life a lot more and my own life has become much more interesting and productive because of it (not like it's suddenly elevated to dining at 5 star hotels and working out for hours daily but it's just little improvements here and there. Showing that off to people although tempting has no benefit and I wish more people would realise that all you get is the time you have and what matters isn't what other people know you've done but what you've actually experienced.

How you use social media is important. I think key, what's your purpose on social media.
Can be used as a tool to find like minded individuals, communities, local events during travel, discovering talented artists/musicians, laughing at memes, etc.
I have a IG. I just share travel photos, playing guitar, funny memes/skits, interesting feeds and networking.
I do miss the pre-smartphone era of Myspace, using coding for self expression was phenomenal af.

TBH I'm only dropping a comment because Henry told me to.
PS I'm sharing this on my social media pages LOL, and with people I care about.
As always, great information. You, Henry, you're a teacher at heart. Excellent work sir.

I left most of social media for the better and it helped me, but I-m not satisfied enough- I-m worried about the rest of the world, and what Zuckerbergs invention is doing to people. Yet at the same time, I want to be with myself.

I deleted FakeBook years ago, but then I came back on a few years later. Big Mistake. I plan to delete it again soon. It-s psychologically unhealthy. It-s a Huge -time suck-. I want to be more productive with my time.

You will count real friends on one hand, if they want to keep with you, they will phone, sms or email, you don-t need media to keep in touch
