How to Transfer Photos from iPhone to Computer - Kevin Stratvert I walk through three different ways to transfer photos, including: 1) The Photos app that comes included as part of Windows 10 2) File Explorer 3) Google Photos The Photos app and File Explorer both require connecting the iPhone to the PC via a Lightning cable. The Google Photos technique only requires a data connection, either through Wifi or cellular data

I guess I am the only person who viewed this video and it didn't work. I have been trying FOR DAYS to get my pictures off my Iphone 13 and put it on my computer, to no avail. I decided to see if there are any YouTube videos, found this, viewed it and tried all three of Kevin's techniques and it would only put about 10 or 12 photos and just the first few seconds of any videos. I don't know what it will take to get it to work. BTW, I do have Windows 10 on my desktop, but it never showed that popup box that should have come up as it did with Kevin when I plugged the cable in. I was able to double click on my computer and found the -Iphone icon-, but when I tried to open it, it said, -No photos are found on this device-. I have over 600 photos and can view them. Oh well, it's probably something on my end. The video was not the problem, but I guess I am going to have to take my phone down to the Apple repair guy and pay him to show me how. My phone is completely full now and I have to delete them from it to get it to work.

Thanks, Kevin! That was really easy to understand. I like the straightforward way you explain the different methods of transferring videos. What I would like to see is how to move all those photos instead of just copying. Seems like there used to be a -move- option but I didn't see that one ... just the share and copying options.

For some reason, when I connect my iphone the options to import , etc shown on the lower right of the laptop screen in your video doesn-t pop up. I do have Windows 10. The phone is connected because the other screen comes up as shown in your second option. I want to import. Is it a setting or something?

Ok Kevin - You absolutely deserve all of the accolades in the comment. In Windows 11 using Chrome and accessing the Google Photos on my PC - How do I download to a specific file folder which is not in the Download directory? Any advise would be appreciated.

For some reason I try the copy and paste technique and some pictures are copied but then when it gets to some videos the copying is interrupted and an error message appears on my phone saying that the Device cannot be reached. What could be the problem?

I have photos on my MacBook Air and want to back them up to an external hard drive (Seagate-Costco). I discussed with apple and the indicated my seagate was not in the correct format and should get a separate drive for photos. Please advise.thanks!

I have lots of photos. I don't want to download all of them. It would be hard to select. Is it better to create an album on my iPhone, then just download that album? Would my PC allow me that?

I can't chose what to do with my iphone. If I plug it in my pc automatically opens the explorer but i want to do it with the photos app. Do you have any advice?

You are so clear on presenting steps. I like watching your videos but find that I need the written steps to move forward. Do you provide these?

After you disconnect your iPhone, are the photos/videos from the file the only ones you can view after disconnecting iPhone from cable
