How to View Multiple Inboxes at Once in Outlook 365 - Kevin Stratvert Learn how to create a Unified Inbox in this short tutorial video using Outlook 365. Have multiple email accounts each with their own inbox? Rather than constantly checking each inbox separately, merge them all together so you only need to look at one inbox. I show three different techniques, including using a search folder, writing a macro, and lastly setting up rules. Unfortunately, Outlook on the PC does not support a unified inbox out of the box. However, using these steps, you can easily create a one inbox view that aggregates all of your inboxes together. For the Macro technique, use the following code: -Create a unified inbox- Sub UnifiedInbox() Dim myOlApp As New Outlook.Application txtSearch = folder:Inbox received: (this week) myOlApp.ActiveExplorer.Search txtSearch, olSearchScopeAllFolders Set myOlApp = Nothing End Sub -Create a Unified Sent Folder- Sub UnifiedSentbox() Dim myOlApp As New Outlook.Application txtSearch = folder: (Sent Mail) sent: (this week) myOlApp.ActiveExplorer.Search txtSearch, olSearchScopeAllFolders Set myOlApp = Nothing End Sub

I just switched my five emails to IMAP from POP3 in outlook 365. So, I had to go with the third option here. It really is the closest to my old POP3 setup where all the addresses went into a common inbox. I set up a new .pst file that has a Inbox folder and directed everything there. When you reply to an email from there, the associated IMAP Sent folder gets the message. Thanks for this video. One other thing, on one of my computers I am not able to open VBA for outlook. tried all the tips from the web but still not working. it opens for excel . . .

I know this is old, but just checking this now. In windows mail for Win10 (not outlook), under settings>manage accounts there is a -link accounts- button where all inboxes are then .. linked and viewed as one inbox.. Slightly cumbersome to determine which inbox an email is from but otherwise a good way to view several email inboxes at once. Leading to my question: If this is a feature in the included mail app that comes with a standard app load in windows 10 pro, can that feature not be somehow assimilated into outlook?

Consultants are often given login credentials by clients, requiring management of multiple accounts within different company portals. How to switch to a new client without (first) having to log out of the 1st one is inconvenient, plus, often the saved tab to the new client account pulls up the 1st one anyway, because -log out- wasn't completed. Results in embarrassing send's from the wrong account. So inefficient. I shouldn't have to create macros just to view a different client's email inbox .

Hi, every time I search my issue, your video comes up. I realise its 2019 but I have an issue with the new outlook 365 on my iMac. It shows ALL of my email in one inbox, but unlike the older version I use, they are not displayed (separated) under each account. I don't mean in the left listing of accounts, I mean in the actual inbox. Is there way to see the emails as per their accounts and not just lumped together under date without knowing to whom they were addressed. - thanks very much

I love how Outlook for PC is such a robust email client with a crapton of features most people don't even know exist, yet it doesn't have a feature for unifying multiple inboxes so you have to hack something together. I have 10 email accounts on my Mac and the built-in Mail app is such a simple email client, yet this is screamingly easy. On my PC, I have only 2 email accounts set up with mail coming regularly to each and it's really this much of a pain?

Are you kidding me? This reminds me of the computers 50 years ago where you had to press CTL>ALT>C to type a capital letter. Is this where we have arrived at now? It is pitiful to be honest, but I think there is an easier way because I've done it. I just can't remember how and am setting up a new computer.

Is there an updated version of this video? Not sure everyone could follow the macro section of the video as layout of the current Outlook 365 has changed somewhat and -ALT+F11- didn't function either. I did manage to get it to work though but it took a little more fiddling to get the editor open

Hi Kevin I followed your steps to view messages in my 3 mails ac at one . Expanded the same to view unread mails . Now when I see each individual message it becomes read but after say 5 secs it becomes unread again . I want to see all unread messages together and just go through them .

It's 2021 and still no unified inbox on a PC? All these options are nice but suck, this is so basic to business users. Just purchase a windows laptop to save time but now it takes more time to look at all my inbox email? Microsoft get your act together.

I used Outlook 2007 for many years until February 2022! It had a unified Inbox. After I finally upgraded to Outlook 2021, I was surprised to learn that there hasn't been a built in unified Inbox for over a decade despite requests from many users!
